What SMTP Test does with the data you enter

Summary

SMTP Test does not have accounts and does not store what you type into its tools.

SMTP tester

When you run a test, the host, port, username, password, sender and recipient you enter are sent over HTTPS to a Cloudflare Worker. The Worker uses them for that single SMTP connection and discards them when the request ends. Passwords are never written to logs or storage.

The tester sends one fixed test message to the recipient you enter. It does not send anything else.

DNS checks

Domain checks query public DNS records through Cloudflare's DNS-over-HTTPS resolver. The domain you enter is not stored.

Abuse protection

To prevent abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limit requests by IP address. Cloudflare processes your IP address for these purposes under its own privacy policy.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics to count page views. We do not sell data or run advertising trackers.
